MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy
THE continued development and expansion of the digital economy is vital to achieving economic growth in Northern Ireland. Yet, just as developing the digital fabric is important, so too is building a culture of tech literacy among the next generation - which is where BT steps in.
The MIT Initiative on the Digital Economy (IDE) explores how people and businesses will work, interact, and prosper in an era of profound digital transformation. They are increasing knowledge and expanding the dialogue on the digital economy.

The IDE is part of the MIT Sloan School of Management. With its core strengths in technology and innovation, no institution is better equipped to examine the digital economy. No other initiative or center in the world is exploring the effects of the digital economy with the same determination, focus, perspective or purpose as the IDE.
